I came up with a way to do 45° extensions using dual cables and a dipping belt.
This setup only works if you can move the machine to the dual cable station, so it’s not something everyone can do.
However, if it’s possible, the setup isn’t troublesome and allows you to train effectively without having to allocate central motor command to holding dumbbells or a barbell.
And if hooking it around your neck feels uncomfortable, you can also set it up so the belt rests on your shoulders instead.
Note: 45° extensions are a great exercise for the hamstrings. I’ve explained this in a previous post (linked in the description).

Never tried hyper extension with machine like that. Have to try. Thanks for idea.
